SIG 3 - Technology

Content

The SIG "Technology" is a group dedicated to studying how technology influences scientific reasoning and argumentation. The influence is studied in two environments: First, in the school and learning settings, where technology can facilitate learning and teaching processes as well as enhancing skill development. The second environment is the research setting. Here the group focuses on how technologies impact, enhance or facilitate research processes such as data gathering, data analysis, evaluation, innervation, amongst others.

Main Goals

1. Depict a map of the technologies used in research for the REASON program and associate members.
2. Assess different SIGs and projects inside the REASON program in terms of used technology.
3. Deepen the knowledge about certain technologies used in the classroom to promote and foster the development of scientific reasoning and argumentation.
